Plate with giant Pradoella tazzarinensis (13,6 cm) and Asaphellus sp. (5,9 cm) Fossil Trilobites. Bordj quarry, Anti-Atlas Mountains, Morocco.
Restoration details: Residual repairs in tiny exoskeleton holes provoked by extraction. 100% natural specimen.
An amazing perfect specimen of Pradoella tazzarinensis, for sure one of the biggest and best 3D displayed ever presented for sale. The outstanding chocolate-brown natural colour from the exoskeleton contrasts magnifically with the matrix. The specimen itself, it is completely inflated and freestanding, one of the best displayable examples of this species I have seen. The plate as a set, as it presents two trilobites of different species in their natural positions, it's a fantastic piece of what we get directly from the mountain. A not-to-miss example of trilobites as they originally sort of the quarry.
